ATM fraud cases: Hry Police arrests 81 fraudstersChandigarh: The Anti ATM Fraud Cell, a specialised unit dedicated to combating ATM fraud in State Crime Branch, Haryana has solved 110 cases of ATM fraud, registered in various police stations of the State for the last 10 months. The police have also arrested 81 persons allegedly involved in various forms of ATM fraud. These criminals employed tactics such as card cloning, skimming, and phishing scams to defraud unsuspecting ATM users, said the official police spokesperson. In a letter addressed to the Deputy Commissioners, it has been stated that they should maintain regular communication with the Minister-in-charge. In case the Minister-in-charge is unable to hold the meeting, then the meeting should be conducted during the same month under the chairmanship of the Divisional Commissioner, said the government official spokesperson.
